Create in Me…Secret Santa Worship Day

Do we look at worship as another event on our crammed calendar? If we can fit church in we attend, smile, nod our heads, complement the pastor and musicians. We don’t look at worship as an act of obedience. But worship that changes us, draws us into relationship with Jesus, lingers beyond Sunday. This kind of intimacy gets into the hidden places of our soul and illuminates our pain, our sin and our need for a savior. The purest form of worship draws us deeper in to God’s truth and reveals who he is. Like Moses, we leave the presence of God and radiate his glory. Worship isn’t meant to be an extra, it is our chance to fall in love with the God of the universe.
