Turning the Page on Suicide is a Creative Writing Outlet for Improving Mental Health

No one wants to search for help with mental health questions.

I didn’t.

Yet, here you are, searching for refuge, for yourself or a loved one. I am here to act as your partner and guide; a light on the often dark path of mental health because I have experienced both despair and hope.

I wrestled with depression throughout my growing up, and though I developed many physical, spiritual, and mental tools to pass on to my children, it did not immunize them to the devastation of hopelessness. After a mighty struggle with physical and emotional pain, my oldest son took his own life in 2014.

Your questions may look similar to mine:

  • I don’t want to die, but how do I live with this pain?
  • My child attempted suicide, where do I find help?
  • I’m an exhausted caretaker of someone with a mental illness, where do I find relief?
  • Where is God in my suffering?
  • How do I move forward after losing someone to suicide?
  • My friend is grieving, how do I comfort?

Turning the Page on Suicide is here to help you with your mental health story.

As your partner and guide, I share my own journey of depression, grief and hope and equip you with tools to grieve, stand firm, prepare, and write your story of hope. Click on the links below to get started.
