Can depression and professionalism coexist?

Yesterday, I posted on my blog about one of the children in my class being diagnosed with anxiety, at just 10-years-old. This deeply upset me and I am so heartbroken that one of my children suffers from this unmerciful illness. It then got me thinking about the education system in the UK at the moment and the strain it is putting on everyone; teachers, children and parents. This has to stop.
